Rang De Basanti and Forgotten Heroes

The Bollywood movie ‘Rang de Basanti’ (Paint Ochre)(Thank you Saritaji for correcting me about the meaning) directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, reminds me of those real forgotten heroes of our great nation. Thank you Rakeysh for such a nice movie. I really enjoyed watching it. I don’t know whether the makers of the movie really thought about the martyr day of the late C.Azad himself. Chandrashekhar Azad sacrificed his life for our nation on 27th of February 1931. A great revolutionary and a never ending inspiration for youth in India submitted himself to the feet of mother India on that day. Please do remember the greatness of his sacrifice even after seeing this movie. Let the spirit of freedom and unity of our minds, fly high.
Let me take this moment to point out one grave mistake done by Shyam Benegal while making the movie ‘Bose the forgotten hero’. Actually I was surprised to see that a great artist like him has made such a mistake. Nowhere in his movie had he made a reference to the late Mr. Chembakaraman Pillai. His was a name which should not be forgotten while referring to Bose himself. Dr. Chembakaraman was the first to "utter the mantra Jai Hind" and is still alive in at least our minds!
